he would be one of the few boxers to
end his carrer on the top,
unlike some of the greats who waited
until they where too old (Ali, Tyson, Chavez, Holyfield, etc.)
i mean who else besides Marciano and Finito Lopez retired at the top?
lennox lewis retired on top, a lot of fighters retire on top and bernard will prolly do that. Bernard cant go out with the likes of marciano and lopez because they were undefeated and bernard has two loses.

Going out on top is over-rated. What does it really do. Do you like Lennox Lewis more because he went out on top, NO. Would you place him higher in the all time lists, NO. What it does do is ruin a division for years as people struggle to determine who the real champion is. I think he should move up in weight and actually risk something, if he loses he will still be the greatest middleweight we have since Marvin Hagler.

he should fight Jermaine Taylor and then retire.

Better question, how should Trinidad end Hopkins career, with a hook, or a uppercut?

I agree think a rematch with Tito is the best option to end his career.

                Wow, big Trinidad fan.
He didn't exactly mess up Hopkins that bad last time.

Move up and fight Johnson or Tarver. Have a rematch with RJJ. Bottom line is move up. No use in fighting undersized middleweights!!! Well, on the second thought the money is in the middleweight.

True, but what goes around, comes around (I think), he will be a big underdog in the rematch, I belive Trinidad would pull the huge upset, even tho he never had a rematch before, and pass that test too. Look at my profile, to see what he said about fighting Hopkins, after Winky.

I think he should have 2 more fights. I hope he KO's Tito again & fight either Tarver or Johnson from the winner of that fight. Fighting Taylor would be pointless. He'd ruin Taylor & lay bad beating on him. There's no way Taylor could be ready for Bhops this year no matter how many fights he'd have this year. Calzaghe is a joke, he's managed to duck just about every threat to him.
