^This. So many fans are mesmerized by confidence. The guy is sloppy as *** and has been for years. Training for boxing isn't going to suddenly ramp up his speed and poor reflexes.

Were he fighting a slugger, I'd give him a puncher's chance. But, he's going to be in the with a master of the science and after a couple rounds of trying to bully Floyd, he's going to start getting lit up and made to look a fool.

Do you think he'll go back to fighting in the octagon after finding his new found wealth ? is he obligated to fight again ?

I'd like to see him face Malignaggi too, I think he'd stop like Floyd will.

well if you know boxing you can clearly tell that mcgregor needs you at the end of his punch and this is why mayweather so confident in telling everyone he going straight at him "walking him down" cause mayweather gonna take that distance McGregor needs away.

In those clips I would say 'sloppy' is the perfect word to summarise his technique, he's literally waving his hands at one point, absolutely wide open for the counter. I know the guy ain't meant to be the most refined and it's being sold on his warrior like tenacity and sheer determination to win but this guy ain't even the best UFC has to offer ffs, determination will only get you so far regardless, the guy hasn't the skill set to mix it with domestic level boxers, with Floyd we're talking the finest of his generation.

This fight is an absolute farce, I understand them doing it but anyone buying into it is an imbecile of the highest order.
