Watched a documentary somewhere on some Filipino boxers.. they turn to boxing because that's their only way to earn and provide food for their family.

He's just an honoury member of the military, he made a speech to the troops and that's all. He went home afterwards. And, yes, I agree he needs to get more involved in the boxing organisations who oversee the sport there. This amount of injuries there is unacceptable.
