Luis "Panterita" Nery, the new Erik Morales?

The new king of the bantamweight division is one of the youngs with more future in this sport.

From Tijuana, Baja California, he has things of Morales but with less technique than Morales.

With 22 years old he went to Japan and destroyed one of the best fighters in history of Japan, only in 4 rounds.

    Luis Nery weapons:

    -Crazy stamina.
-Skill to land punches from weird angles.
    -Very strong.
-Good chin (took the best shots of Yamanaka).
    -Southpaw.
    -Very good power.
    -Heart and determination.
    -Crazy combinations.
    -Good body crusher.
    -Footwork.
    -Explosiveness and good speed.

The full pack right here, people.

And **** off, little Tank Davis, Luis Nery has the same age that you and he went to Japan to destroy the best fighter in the weight and your promotor is saying that you are too young to fight with the best of your division?

If this guy fights anything like Morales he's got a fan here because Morales was my favorite fighter out of the little guys back in the day.

Morales was more orthodox but this kid has the same agressive style and crazy combinations.

He is from the same city and people from Mexico is comparing him with Erik.

            Is a rare mix.

            African with mexican blood.

That's the reason why he has great stamina (too comun in mexican fighters) and explosiveness (too comun in black fighters).

And yep, he brings great fights like Morales did when he was active.

Morales is my all-time favorite fighter. I'd have to see some full fights to have an opinion on similarities with El Terrible.

Kid seems like a bad motherfucker though. He's got my interest.

                That was a great fight.

Thought Pantera was a little wild at times but Yamanaka really had no idea what to do when he was hurt.

Is there a video of the fight? I love seeing young fighters reach that new level. I'll have to go through his catalog of bouts to see what he's made of.
