To me, it's the made in Japan that's impressive. What ever Luis has, it worked in Shinsuke's house.

This guy who was listed on the BoxingScene Top 10 with all sorts of justifications. LMAO - your boy got starched.

Say what you will about Jeff "The Hornet" Horn - he didn't get served like a buttermilk biscuit like Yamanaka just did.

EDIT: Here's the highlights. Yamanaka was getting flushed. That ref should be fired.

this result destroyed potential rigo-yamanaka and naoya inoue-yamanaka match ups . it's great for nery though. in the last 12 months or so japan lost several exciting champions. takayama, yaegashi, hasegawa, miura, uchiyama, yamanaka...

To everyone who's not giving nery the credit he deserves your hating. Nery a dude who built a career fighting a bunch of domestic fights in Mexico. Pantera finally stepped up against the best champ at Bantamweight and beat him in his house the way champions do it. I'm giving him all the credit he deserves and he might just be a star in the making.

Damn too many clean shots. Crazy to see a top P4P fighter get beat up that bad.

Been raping tha bookies! you all know you can check my track record picking the upsets especially at the lighterweights ; when you on a role like me one upset makes it seem like I fell off, but I still got old money to burn!

It was a good fight and a helluva run by the old guard Yamanaka!.

He took bomb after bombs from a more powerful and younger opponent who likely will get better with time!

Nery just beat the man of the division and 118 is looking really good!

Payano vs Nery would be a barnburner!

Shame that Japan boxing has been losing its legends and warriors but father time is undefeated and there is always someone better than you or could be better than you on any given fight night!

Guys like Daigo Higa and Rex Tso got this For Asian boxing!

                    Well said.

Nery just launched himself into the top of the division.

                    Very impressive.
