They just need Golovkin-Canelo to pop up now and then for now, then right after May Mac they can dominate the sports media. ODLH can go on a "See I told you that would suck" victory tour.

Just can't see canelo dropping Golovkin especially considering who's punched Golovkin in the amateurs and pros but we fans are here to be proved wrong.
I think Canelo can definitely hurt Golovkin with repeated and effective body work, but I think this all depends on the strategies of them both if Golovkin stays behind his excellent jab he could be in for an easier fight than anticipated, any over engaging suits canelo with his counter punching and good upper body movement. But I agree canelo won't over engage that's just suicide.
Such an intriguing fight...But am sticking to my prediction in that it's a very even entertaining fight for 6 rounds and then Golovkin slowly takes over on the second half of the fight.Comment

This is what I was thinking. Make up your mind Abel. He previously said Canelo was not a big puncher as he is portrayed to be and now he says he thinks both guys will get hurt and go down.
Myself, from what I've seen, studied and analyzed from the two. I don't see Canelo dropping Triple G. Unless he is able to sustain a relentless body attack, but I don't see that happening because Canelo would have to worry about the incoming and counters after delivering those shots. I don't think he will stand in front of Triple G long enough to allow that to happen.
They both may get hurt. But I don't see G getting dropped, I can see Canelo getting dropped.
If Canelo beats Triple G and drops him and proves me wrong, absolutely I will give him his props and respect. That would be very impressive if he did that.
But we'll see what happens. It will be a really good fight, I know that. Not like that circus WWE event coming up.Comment

That said, I generally agree with you. I think GGG could get hurt if he gets too reckless, but I don't think that's likely to happen. I think Canelo can only hurt GGG with counters (and follow-up combinations), but won't be able to inflict serious damage if he's the one initiating the exchanges.Comment

I'm not a big fan of either honestly, but I still think Golovkin wins this fight. The best game plan he can employ vs Canelo is the same one he used vs David Lemiuex imho. The jab he pumped in that fight was deadly to Lemiuex, and neither Canelo or Lemiuex have amazing footwork which is why I honestly think Golovkin ultimately beats him or TKO's him late. Canelo definitely has a shot, I just don't envision him winning this one for some reason.Comment

I believe Saul is going to come out fast trying to dictate the pace early on and he will Tire in the mid-to-late rounds, I just don't see him being able to drop Golovkin with his best shot,, I see Alvarez getting hurt to the body by a monster left hook from Triple G.. If Abel is smart he will have his Man put money in the bank and attack that body from Round 1.Comment
