Who was fighter of the year in 1981: Salvador Sanchez or 'Sugar' Ray Leonard

Both were voted fighter of the year in 81. Both beat ATG's who were knocking everyone out. I think I give the edge to Leonard slightly. To me, the Hearns win is the greater win. I like Sanchez more as a fighter though.

Leonard was the bigger star and got more publicity. Sanchez was the better fighter though IMO.
