Comments Thread For: McGregor's Head Trainer Thanks Malignaggi, Holds No Grudge

Last week, Conor McGregor hit back at former sparring partner Paulie Malignaggi, saying the retired two-time champion was looking for an excuse to leave training camp. MMA star McGregor is preparing to face Floyd Mayweather in a Las Vegas boxing ring on August 26 in what could be one of the richest fights in history. McGregor has never boxed professionally so he brought in several sparring partners to help him get ready to take on the undefeated Mayweather, who is considered one of the greatest defensive fighters of all-time.

Paulie suffered severe head trauma. We are worried for him. Floyd is next, WITHOUT HEADGEAR, keep that in mind. And 8 OZ gloves. Floyd is getting slept. 49-1.

      They didn't pay him?
Why would anyone bother helping out these clowns that will get paid millions of dollars, but want sparring partners for free?

Paulie left the camp early so he doesn't deserve to get paid does he?

How'd he leave early when in this article it says all they expected was 2 sparring sessions. Reading comprehension my friend. It's so sad how many of you boxing fans have bowed down to mma and the weak Mcquitter.

Mctapout aka McRenter went life and death with ****n Pauli Malignaggi lol. Floyd would never lose to a bum who was fighting on the undercards of Women mma lmao. We know floyd record against BUM Europeans Gatti beat to death, Rocky Hatton KTFO, and Mctapper will continue the trend. Those slappy girl punches won't touch Floyd. 50-0

Looks like Conor bested Paulie, which probably comes as no surprise, considering Paulie's age and shape. He got destroyed in his last fight and retired, and McGregor IS a fighter. So...

It's humorous that people who seem to watch a lot of boxing and present themselves as knowledgeable fight fans are so desperate and eager to buy into McGregor's hype.

LOL they are learning they can't f#ck over people slowly.

They had Berto coming to spar, they were trying to get Stevie Forbes & both decided to not come help Conor cuz of this bs with Paulie it seems like. Haven't heard Berto say whats what, but Forbes has said thats why he turned them down & he's sparred a ton of rounds with Floyd & woulda been an awesome help to them.

                    F#cking dummies.
