Tyson just was never going to dominate in that Era of 6'4 and up heavweights. His style was predicated on gettin guys out of there early, if that failed. It would be hell to pay. I believe even Cus D'Mato said so himself.
Heavyweight division is in this weird cross road where you got guys who would be heavyweights in the past, and basically super heavyweights. Also in that fight, Buster Douglas didn't just pull a rabbit out of his ass. He was bxoing a clinic against Tyson sans the knock down.
