Should Showtime allow Paulie to be a commentator for the fight?

Paulie was acting like a deranged homeless man yelling "bring yer balls!" on top of stalking Conor when he arrived.

(Showtime doesn't obviously like Conor since he berated them multiple times so there's that as well)

Pride is a fickle thing; add that Paulie's temper is known to run hot, and it is what it is.

Paulie's not going to pop off during any of the official Showtime coverage, and he's not likely to pop off on fight night either (how the fighter meetings end up going is beyond me, tbh).

The fight is already going to sell no shot this was staged by showtime. We have never seen anything close to this from showtime but this behavior has followed Paulie his entire career. This is a man who's pride was shattered and has spiraled out of control.

We keep waiting for Paulie to get over it and act professional because he's calling the fight and the opposite has happened every day he ups the crazy ex girlfriend behavior. Paulie already embarrassed himself and flushed any credibility down the toilet but now it's just not a good look for Showtime

paulie is boxing's best expert commentator and brings a ton of value to the broadcast. if he keeps it up for a couple of decades i can see him in the hall of fame. he just needs to keep his nose clean. he was a bit unprofessional in the lead up to this fight, but that's mostly because connor mcgregor is a loser and is surrounded by a team of losers who are relentless about generating publicity and shaping the narrative.

he's certainly done nothing to warrant being fired or dismissed from this event. he's got a big mouth, and showtime knows that. he's good publicity and good for business largely. they surely have advised him about where the line is drawn, and what will happen if he steps over it.

My favourite commentators are Paulie and Andre Ward and that guy who does the Boxnation shows Barry Jones and Garry Lockett too, Steward when he was around was unbeatable, I'll try and find the stream where Klitschko is commentating this weekend, though it'll be in German I believe the internet based company I forget their name I like hearing from the guys who actually know their stuff, I wouldn't wanna listen to brawlers commentate a fight like Provodnikov or Maidana for instance.

Paulie is down right one of the best around right now, he's intelligent and articulates the sweet science as well as anybody I can think of.

No you the bytch for not realizing Paulie sold out by going there the first place after the shyt he talked about the fight. Then went back there AFTER they leaked photos clowning him during the 1st sparring. As they say fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me (or in this case paulie). He brought this on himself. Nobody losing sleep because this bytch got played. And if he really wanted payback he knows where McGregor camp is and could of went back for another fight instead he crying on twitter. sure Connor is a snake and an azzhole but Paulie KNEW this before they sparred. Knew this after they exploited and clowned him and STILL went back for a second sparring. But we are now way past what did or didn't happen in those sparring sessions. Paulie is completely off the grid and it's a conflict of interest and just plain a bad look for Showtime. You got a Paulie who is supposed to be calling the fight jumping out of bushes like a stalker yelling bring your balls on saturday. Doing videos with his opponent the day before weigh in screaming sucker and laughing about how he set Connor up. And this was before it had become cringe worthing how the Paulie is going on twitter rants 24/7 for weeks now like a bytch you hit it and quit it on.

Which is what they want for a spectacle like this.

This circus needs as many fireworks as possible.
