Where are you getting that he got schooled?
Why is everyone buying this *****?
So UFC release their cherry-picked best moments from 12 rounds of sparring, about 20 seconds in total if that, and for you all, that's the whole story of the fight. That's what happened for the full 12. Well they suckered you in good and proper, didn't they.
Let's look at what we have here. A sketchy flash KD in which I can't see a single punch land, (looks more to be a balance thing) and from which Paulie would have got straight back up with no lasting effect. Certainly Joe Cortez doesn't rule it a knockdown.
Then we have a single punch-a good one- but that's it. And with Conor's so-called 'devastating' power, it doesn't even seem to affect Paulie. He resets and comes back.
Paulie's face is marked? Well Conor's wearing a football helmet while Paulie's going open-faced. If anything, this will hurt Conor more on fight night as he'll be unprepared for hard punches.
Taking all that into account, it was against a fat, out-of-shape Malignaggi who didn't train for the first session and trained for one week for the second.
And we still don't know what happened for the other 35 mins and 40 seconds of that sparring session.
You should have learnt with the Van Heerden footage. That was like watching a man fight a boy. Conor looked pathetic. Looked pretty good in his edit though, didn't he?
So once Floyd beats Conor's ass in 2 weeks, but the UFC release 20 seconds of footage from the fight which shows how Conor actually won, will you all lap it up like you are now?
