First and probably last post for this fight. I will watch it, more for spectacle than anything else. But I've watched McGregor train and he's going to get handled pretty easily. McGregors foot work is mediocre, it looks exactly like what it is, a person who has never boxed. His feet are extremely wide, which is not good for him because he's not fast enough to close and move. He lifts his feet almost every time he punches, when he actually throws a power punch, he shifts a lot of weight to his lead foot, which means he will be even slower coming out, and be easily countered. He switches his leads pretty fast, but there's a weird delay between the switch and his next punch. When he punches, his fist, rist, and forearms are aligned extremely well (actually better than Mayweathers), however his elbows are high and wide. That may be ok for the cage, but in professional boxing, its an easy punch to see/defend, and he might as well hang a neon sign with an arrow pointing straight at his body. He tends to drop his off hand when he punches. He has a decent lateral step that, even if you're slow, would normally get you out of trouble against most boxers (due to the very linear style of boxing), but the fact that he drops his off hand, and his chin is very high, it almost negates any advantage that step gives him.

At the end of the day, like most people who fight Mayweather, McGregor will be shocked by his size and strength when they are in the ring. He will be shocked by Mayweathers power. And as with all fighters, Mayweathers speed will annihilate his confidence. That's with out even considering Mayweathers defense and ring IQ. All in all, great one sided spectacle of a fight, at least the under card is pretty BOSS.

This. People can clown McGregor all they want but he was a mma fighter that was welfare in Ireland just 4 years ago and has manage to position himself as the current biggest draw in combat sports and landed himself in the biggest boxing fight of all time without ever having boxed. You couldn't even write a movie script that ridiculous. His self belief is probably better than anything I've seen in sports. I get a kick out of people trying to clown on him. He's figured out how to hack the system and level jump in life.

Hes like a guy who got caught red handed cheating by his girl, but because shes insecure, hes able to convince her of his lies and delusions and she believes him despite the evidence that's in plain sight, The girl and his fan's are the same, They are so emotionally invested in him they believe anything he say's.

I don't think the weight difference will have that much of an effect on the fight. The bigger effect would be if Floyd looks old in the ring or if he still looks sharp enough. What will help McGregor is if he has some kind of Thomas Hearns type of power. Then Floyd would be in all kinds of trouble. Let's all admit we are curious about watching the fight, whether we pay the ppv or watch it at a pub or stream it.

Neither will your stamina. Floyd should win this easily unless he goes in there and tries to blast McGregor early which he has implied he wants to do . Floyd should just box his ears off and when McGregor starts to get tired around 7th or 8th Rd the KO for Floyd will come.
