If you watch the fight with Bernard vs smith you'll see that Hopkins was winning the fight until the flurry joe threw that got him out the ring then when Hopkins landed on his head outside the ring it was over. Plus he was a 51 year old man.

It would benefit the guy who is used to fighting with smaller glofes . Mayweather is more defensive ,McGregor is going on the offensive moreso here so chances are slimmer Mayweather blocks all of them with less padding to cushion shots .
