I still believe the whole Paulie/Conner beef is a set up.
Either to hype up this fight or eventually hype up a fight between the two.

Hard for me to believe Paulie whit because of a few photos.

Paulie or Amir, but, yeah, probably Paulie.

Does McGregor vs Paulie really hold THAT much appeal with or without the sparring outcome? Although I wouldn't be surprised if Paulie tried to steer into that cuz money. If he legit got beat the f#ck up then I doubt he even tries to parlay that much more post-fight (saying something like "its an interesting option, but I'm retired...I'm out of the ring") cuz the questionable embarrassment of him "losing" in sparring isn't as bad as him legit getting embarrassed in the ring.

And if its a setup Paulie isn't in on it cuz idk that Paulie is unemotional enough to be involved in a setup like this one.

From what I've read (not sure how correct) Mcgregors biggest purse in UFC has only been like 5 million.
A fight in boxing with Malinaggi even after the Floyd loss will make him more than that.

If McGregor loses & looks bad doing so than maybe it makes sense, but at that point I think you just wanna stick to MMA if you're Conor. If Conor somehow wins or he just has some moral W's I believe there to be many fights vs better options for more money.

No matter what I don't think Coner goes back to ufc . If all the reports on his purses are accurate, his one fight with Floyd is gonna pay him more than his entire career at UFC. (Of course only if PPV sales become what ppl expect)
Everyone expects Floyd to win, but if McGregor can do something unexpected like go 12 rounds, I think he'll impress people and they'll buy into a match between him and Paulie.
I mean how many people are clamoring for release of the sparring video?
He can easily get 10 million guarantee to fight Paulie. A lot more than a match at UFC.

I think his competitive gene will lead him back to MMA win or lose for some fights (how many idk, but I think he's got 1 or more MMA fights left him whatever goes down), but yea unless he looks realllllly bad I expect his next fight to be a boxing match.

Sure, but again I'd suggest there is more money to be made in other fights & I'd even argue he could probably fight a no-name guy post-Floyd & make equal or better money.

And if this sparring went like Conor is saying it went then that fight would be dead in the water cuz if Paulie is getting pounded from corner to corner in sparring the fight would have lil appeal once that news gets verified via the video coming out in full.
