If he hasnt made the weight then this has now turned from an issue which before we just kinda shrugged off, to one that has become a serious problem in what will be their 3 fights...

**** Castillo if he cant make the weight... Ill go for Corrales just based on the fact that he has tried to observe the rules fair and square each time.

By turning up the day before the fight with a weight issue, Castillo has now put Corrales on the spot. Corrales cant just say no to the bout, and Castillo is being unfair by making him even think about this problem when his mind should be on the fight...

      **** Castillo.

I'm begining to hope Corrales makes a stand and cancells the whole thing.

Sure it sucks for everyone involved who gets screwed on the time, promo, and undercard, but in the end that's Castillo's fault.

I will be shocked if Chico decides to go thru with this fight.

Then again 1.5 million is tough to say goodbye too isnt it?

I think it's really bad for boxing that Castillo didn't make the weight, and the fight should have been cancelled way before now. That said, I don't think any of the comments that he didn't try to make weight are not fair. I think he tried, both of the last two times, and just wasn't able to do it. From the reports, it sounds like he'd taxed himself pretty badly trying to make weight, but he just couldn't get that low. Boxing needs a weigh-in system that works, so these multi-million dollar events are not planned and then cancelled because it's a crap-shoot whether the fighters are capable of making their weight.

If this fight dont go through, even better, because he can fight Hatton or Cotto next and get his face smashed in, which is probaly their plan anyway...
