Moving around like that he's going to mess around and run into something. Similar to what happened with Pacquiao and Marquez. I highly doubt he tries moving like that after a round or two or at all for that matter.

The one thing I don't get though is how people say his movement is awkward. It's more amateurish than awkard to me. Someone that boxes like Dimtry Pirog is awkward to me.

The things people are saying are awkward will be things Floyd see's as flaws.

When it comes down to it, any really successful boxer has had good fundamentals. Even if they were awkward, there was method to it. Take a guy like Naseem Hamed, he was unorthodox but in the Kelley fight after a couple of rounds, he went back to basics a lot of the time and got the job done. Even a guy like Maidana, he might be unorthodox but his fundamental boxing skill set is still on another planet to Conor.

You simply cannot get in with a world class boxer with amateur fundamentals and survive in a boxing ring. It doesn't matter what kind of outlandish movement you have or how unorthodox you appear. Without the fundamentals, all that weirdness will just be flaws.

is embarrassing how people are giving him a chance. away from boxing i guess it shows how susceptible people are to propaganda, how easy it is to influence people. people keep coming out in the public and saying mcgregor has a chance, so people begin to think its true. Seeing so many people giving him a shot at winning, even if you arent a boxing fan surely you must think somoene whos never competed professionally in a sport isnt going to beat someone whos largely regarded as the best fighter of recent times. i love the logic of 'oh anyone has a chance, noone expected douglas to beat tyson' well you could justify any match up going by that logic.
