Pancrase rules didn't allow for punches (to the head) early on.

I love the way UFC fans are spinning inexperience into 'awkward, unpredictable'.

So does that mean anyone who's never boxed would represent more of a threat because they are 'awkward'?

No. It will look like inexperience on the night and Mayweather will read him like a see-through book.

I expect better from Bas. The guy is just being bias. I figured he wouldn't be one of those MMA guys doing that. Guess I was wrong.

Awkward & unpredictable is an often discussed edge in boxing that gets brought up in fights & can often be enough of an edge to win a fight in competitive bouts...this one isn't competitive is the problem Conor will have.

And while boxers might be unpredictable to MMA guys with their standup/striking decisions the problem is MMA guys are gonna be more unpredictable to the boxers due to their arsenal of options with takedowns, kicks to the legs, body & head, elbows, knees to the head etc & so on.
