I checked out his opponent, he isn't that good. Who else could he fight at such a short notice, though? Better stay active than sit on the sidelines. Davis just fought 3 months ago unlike so many other boxers who fight once a year.

It's not like he could just get up and fight Lomachenko on a two week notice. Plus, Arum and Floyd won't do business together for a long time, unless it makes them tons of money. Davis will be matched tough soon enough. Patience, please.
