Comments Thread For: Mayweather: It's A Victory for McGregor if it Goes the Distance

A common belief among many media members and fans is that if Mayweather-McGregor goes the distance, it might as well be a loss for Floyd Mayweather Jr. According to that theory, Mayweather must knock out McGregor if the best boxer of this generation is to truly prove his complete superiority over a UFC superstar who will box for the first time as a professional. Mayweather actually agrees with that take.

How is going the distance against a retired 40 year old who was never as a puncher classed as a victory? Floyd should be winning this by knockout but what were other top fighters doing at 40? Tyson was getting stopped by Kevin McBride (another Irish bum)

This is the first sign of fear from Floyd. He's seen Connor training and read th....had someone else read the reports to him. He knows this is a fight and now he's prepping the fans for a 12 round dance.

          Is he carrying an injury?

Because that's the ONLY WAY he leaves on a stretcher. Floyd doesn't have anywhere near the power to dent his world class chin.

Thought Flroid just said he's 40 and slipping, that McGregor could take him out?

Come on son, your hype game is the only thing slipping
