Lose-lose situation for Loma.

He wins. He beat a small guy. And considering his amateur pedigree (comparable or even better than Rigo's) this is expected.

Again, Loma's boat for Rigo has sailed.
No one wants to see Rigo now. He's got all the talent but failed to really entertain us. HE should have stayed an amateur.

And if he beats an old washed up Salido then .....?

This. I'm the biggest Rigo fan, but I don't understand how money is such an issue. What's a few hundred grand more for Rock nation to make such a big fight? Something isn't right here.

I wonder what Rigo's number is... I'm guess it's for a little over a million.. which even though that might seem high... It's nothing compared to what Roc nation just dumped on Ward... and Rigo-Loma on free ESPN will probably do some pretty good numbers...

The fight would be under Top Rank on ESPN, Rock Nation won't be paid anything, their cut will come from Rigo's purse.

That's why the media is not doing a good job on this subject.
It's confusing. Nobody knows what kind of contract Rigo has with Roc.
Money is not supposed to be an issue.
Kind of like when Broner was offered some million dollars for a number of fights.
Meaning, the money won't even come from Arum, HBO, GBP, etc.

Arum would want to promote the fight, no way he allows ROC Nation to b the lead promoter. Therefore Top Rank would b paying the fighters. Arum wouldn't allow anyone to do 50/50 n each pay their fighter. This is not May/Floyd. Would Loma n Arum accept a 500k offer from any other promotional company to fight their fighter? Loma will never fight a tough fighter who is not with top rank or someone who's a bigger draw than him.

that only has to do with official payments. for example ward got millions more in the first kovalev fight even thoguh they werent lead promoter. roc nation could do the same if they really wanted rigo to take the fight but rigo and his promoter dont want that work. ducking big mouthed frauds sit yo ass down!!!

Again and again, Salido was being paid extra to avenge his loss. They are overpaying for that. They wouldn't pay him that money if they haven't fought before.
