Fonseca seems to be a tickover for David, but if that was the lineup for a Showtime Championship Boxing card (plus SHOExtreme for the bottom two fights), there wouldn't be much there to complain about, tbh.
Gervonta vs Fonseca would be a good opener and should provide an early KO.

I think the main let down is Tabiti vs Cunningham which I feel is going to be dreadfully boring but at least Cunningham is making some money to help take care of his daughter.

Kevin Newman II is definitely a good fighter, but he's been fighting the injury bug over the last few years.

All he needs to do is keep healthy and string together a few more good performances. Hopefully he gets onto one of the shows this weekend, but the next 16 months are gonna be crucial.

I think you're drastically undercounting Cunningham's ability, tbh.

So they can easily afford to pay more than $25,000 to some bum nobody has ever heard of. Your just a fool for defending this cherry pick fight. Or is Al Haymon not really a billionaire as you claim.... 😂
1st, Danny got 1.5 mil, Matthysse got 800k. Doesn't really matter, just wanted the facts to be staright lol.

2nd, It was proven shortly after this night that fights in the undercard doesn't really affect the PPV. in other words, the public usually buy the PPV based on the main event, not the entire card. so they figured why spend over 2mil on the undercard when most likely you're not getting back your return on investment, you're just losing money.

See, this is what happens when ******s like you speak when they don't know WTF the issue is about! IDGAF how much either fighter is making and IDGAF how many ppv's the fight sell. That's not what the discussion was about between me and that idiot Jason Shaw! If you really wanna know what the topic was about then go back and read all our posts on this thread. Otherwise, don't speak unless spoken too!

With the WBC, WBO, and WBA belts on that side of the fence (Berchelt and Corrales fight on HBO, with Top Rank only off of HBO because of HBO not buying what that were selling), Davis is going to likely keep defending his IBF belt on Showtime (against the best fighters available) until his star is so big on Showtime that folks are forced to come see him.
Yeah nevermind on Unification for Davis! Both Berchelt and Corrales are with Golden Boy Promotions and Loma with Top Rank. I don't see EITHER working with Mayweather anytime soon to make fights with Davis.

HOWEVER, Orlando Salido should be revisited once he is healthy though! That is a very good fight for Davis if Salido can still make 130 and if they can get to him and pay him more than Top Rank would to fight Loma Again

Then after that hopefully Tevin Famer is back and 100% Healthy to fight Billy Dib in a IBF Eliminator and Davis fights the Winner!

So basically if he can fight Orlando Salido then Tevin Farmer and beat both...Then it is time for the Lomachenko Fight after that!
