Artem Dalakian (not Dalakiam) is not Azerbaijani boxer. He is an Armenian who was born in Azerbaijan and moved to Ukraine when he was 2 during the Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict.

Dalakiam has fought no one remotely close to having a pulse. Yup, perfect mandatory for the WBA.

A nobody at this point, he benefits a world title opportunity in winning/ reaching higher degrees in the WBA ranking structure without beating a world-level opponent : won the 'vacant WBA International flyweight title' in 2013 ; made a defense of that, then obtained a ANOTHER vacant ' WBA Continental flyweight title' and made around four title defenses of it -- incidentally according to boxrec he was the first to win both the International and continental Flyweight titles! hehehe.

I think Juan Carlos Reveco would of got the rematch for Iokas mandatory defense but Carlos is scheduled to face Komgrich Nantapech in a eliminator for Donnie Nietes WBO crown -- which is cool with me because Ioka vs. Reveco III doesnt sound too good.

Sounds like an easy win for Ioka. Ioka vs Nietes is the fight I really want to see, but Reveco/Nietes would be a good fight as well.

Iteresting to see the eastern-euros get a crack at flyweight titles tho. I don't recall the last time one went to Japan to challenge a champion, also Artem looks to have proper boxing skills and a good punch so I'm tuning in.

And yeah Nietes/Ioka/Reveco are must see.

Thought Reveco nicked the first fight but they gave it to the hometown Ioka, and the second one was close until the KO. But I'd rather see Reveco have a go at Nietes, who got handed a softy for the WBO belt, IMO
