Mayweather always says this. But i don't blame him for the Pac fight being boring I honestly thought Pacquiao would pressure Floyd more and cut the ring off better and go for the knockout. But Pac was hesitating to let his hands go he wasn't as aggressive as I thought he would be. Maidana fought Floyd the way Pac should have. As far as Floyd promising to bring action I doubt it he's a safety first fighter he doesn't put it all on the line in a street brawl style the way fans want him too.

Floyd should know better without the support of the hardcore boxing fans who calls the shots which fight is legit or not. The casuals will think otherwise if they will buy this mismatch. There are still dumbfuvks who buy this freak show, but majority is seeing it as a money grab.

Not to mention even MMA fighters are discrediting Conor's chances. Now MMA casuals are thinking twice before buying this mismatch fight.

Floyd keeps on promising he'll give a good show and always plays out to be a borefest, leaving boxing fans with buyers remorse.

Nothing different here. Every-time he says this, more and more are realizing it's a conman trying to sell you a fake Rolex.

I hope that Mayweather's tactics to sell this fight are as obvious to casuals as they are to boxing fans. The Pacquiao fight was a dud and Mayweather doesn't seem to care about "pleasing" boxing fans. He's in it for the money, which is fine, but don't say you plan on slugging it out when in reality you're not going to do that. Fans too are to blame because they still buy into it. If you're truly dissatisfied with Mayweather's style don't buy the PPV's. But I get it, people want to see him lose so at the end of the day it's still the same old storyline; people want to see the bad guy lose so they hope that the "hero" comes through with the win.

It is actually that obvious now, since MMA fighters are very vocal in saying McGregor has no chance at all. Casuals follow the sport from the perspective of the people who knows it. If both sports (boxing and MMA) are saying this is a mismatch. This tells casuals it's not worth buying.

This will still do good numbers, but not great since it doesn't have the stamp approval from the knowlwedgable critics.
