I have it 2-2 in their 'Quadrology'

Pac won the first 2, Marquez won that last 2.

2,4,1,3 is how I would rank the fights in terms of viewing entertainment.

Legendary rivalry. I read an article where the Mexican murder/crime rate dropped drastically when Marquez was fighting as the gangsters stopped killing each other to watch JMM fight.

JMM is an ATG, fought Pac 4 times, KOing him once and had Floyd so shook about fighting him on somewhat even terms (despite bringing JMM up 2 weight divisions) terms that Floyd resorted to cheating JMM on the scales in what I believe is the only blemish on his otherwise professional weigh in record.

JMM... props to the Mexican counter punching legend.

Judges typically won't put a 10-6 round, because they believe it will put a fighter back too far. While the Judge did say he made a mistake, he more than likely didn't, as it's a common practice. More than likely just said it to save face. Any way, if you knock a fighter down three times, and he fights you to a draw. Something is wrong with you and IMHO you don't deserve the win after that huge start.

The first 2 were close. The third was a robbery.

The problem with Marquez is that he constantly cried robbery too often when he lost close fights.

He got washed by Tim Bradley and cried robbery. He lost to Chris John in a close fight and cried robbery.

As far as the Pacquiao fights are concerned. The first 3 fights were close, and could have gone either way including the 3rd fight. He got unlucky that he didn't get one of those decisions and had to go to the 4th fight to get a knockout. But a robbery would suggest that he won 9 rounds and the other guy got the decision. It wasn't like Casamyor vs. Santa Cruz.

                Come on kid.

The fight vs John was a huge robbery.

                The fight vs Norwood too.

The third fight Marquez was the real winner.

The first two were too close.

                Bradley won 115-112.

It was the 5 division to Marquez, don't forget that, people.

I still remember how annoying this guy was from 2004-2012 with his cries & complaints. He's still undefeated in his mind. Pac robbed him 3 times, C.J robbed him, Floyd cheated him, Timmy robbed him. Did I miss anyone else? Oh yeah...that guy named Freddie something.

Marquez still living the moment. Truth be told, that punch is all people are going to remember from that series. It was brutal as hell!
