Comments Thread For: Marquez: KO of Pacquiao Was Redemption For The Robberies

One of the great rivalries in boxing history was played out between future Hall of Famers Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico and Filipino legend Manny Pacquiao. They had four spectacular fights that Marquez closed the book on with a historic knockout in their fourth bout in December 2012. They fought to a controversial twelve round draw in 2004, and then met again in 2008 - where Pacquiao won a controversial split decision. A trilogy bout took place in 2011, with Pacquiao winning what many felt was a controversial twelve round majority decision.

Oh please. I scored 2 of the fights for Marquez (and of course the 4th was ko win) but any fight that is close is a "robbery" these days
Whine Moanwell always has an excuse and gripes over everything. I love the way he fights and I'd be a huge fan if he didn't act like such a baby

Second was close, I felt he clearly won the third hands down.

Everything is a robbery to Marquez. He cried robbery in the Timothy Bradley bout when Bradley schooled his ass.

Marquez has a legitimate gripe. 3 close fights. Pacquiao got 2 decisions, Marquez got 0.

Then Pacquiao should have cried robberry also in the first fight when the judges scored an error on the cards. Pre-dela hoya Pacquiao was not thA-side against Marquez yet and he beat Marquez legitimstely in the 2nd fight where i scored it 114-113 Pacquiao.

Yeah I mean personally I scored 1 and 3 for him. I just don't like Marquez' general attitude. At the end of the day I AM a fan of his however because how can you not respect his abilities.

                  Bradley didn't school him.

                  7-5 isn't a schooling

Lol itwasnt even close to 7-5 it was 9-3. The only rounds Marquez realistically won is 1-4-11 thats it. The rest Bradley won it easily.
