Actually, he said Marquez beat a 23-year-old Salido and Loma lost to the 32-year-old, former champion Salido.

      Marquez was 31.

Marquez lost to Norwod, John and some dude called Javier Duran on his debut. He was a great fighter though.

He lost due to a DQ in his debut for a headbutt. Obviously I've never seen the fight so it's hard to say if it was justified. He's never been known for headbutts so it's hard to imagine it was done deliberately.

Yeah great fighters lose fights, hard to understand for some people. Both were highly controversial, hard to say he deserved those wins though.

Yeah, I've heard the report from the fight was that he'd already dropped the guy twice and their was an accidental clash of heads but the other dudes manager was connected with the commission or something so they DQ'd him.

John fight I had Marquez 9-3 (with some B.S points deductions), Norwood 115-111 both were bad decisions.

Too many newbies/casuals and fanboys can't grasp a "loss" and think every fighter must be undefeated.

23 years old salido was not nearly as good as the version loma fought.

Marquez is more of winer than anything else.

Loma would NEVER lose to a guy like freddie ****CKCING norwood or chris john.

Also, you forget to mention this was lomas like 2nd pro fight against salido

When Loma fought Salido... this was Salido's record: 41(31)-2-2

Did those boxers' promoters feel their guys should fight against a Salido type in their 2nd pro fight? With that record? You have to have significant circumstances like a pedigree am record and 2 Golds perhaps. Not even Rigo was rushed in like that.

Of course Loma got the special treatment for a 2nd fight, title, you pay the consequences which is realistic. Mexicans are tough boxers...

Different circumstances as well. If anything Lomachenko benefited from that loss. I think he's admitted that himself.
