Boxers need someone on their side. Idk that Egis is necessarily that type of guy. He's good at picking out talented guys, but idk that he gives a f#ck if his fighters end up well off or not, as long as he does well on the deal.

I mean the fact Kovalev got f#cked on that Ward fight opened my eyes on Egis a bit. A manager letting his fighter take such a bad deal on a PPV that was obviously going to do f#ck all in buys is one of the worst situations I've seen a fighter in for a largely respected & well thought of manager.
    isnt kova with duva though?

Salute to Mikey! Sound like the Top Rank situation taught him A LOT about the Business side of things and now that he understands it the sky is the limit as far as earning potential as a fighter now and he should NEVER EVER sign with another Promoter even if they try to dangle big matches in front of him to get him to sign like GBP is "ALLEGEDLY" trying to do by offering Linares IF he signs! Probably why he said recently "I'm Not Chasing Linares"
