Comments Thread For: Malignaggi: I Would Fight McGregor, I Beat His Ass Last Time

Earlier this year, former two division world champion Paulie Malignaggi announced his retirement after getting knocked out by British welterweight contender Sam Eggington. Malignaggi thought his days as a fighter were done - until he was hired to serve as a chief sparring partner for UFC superstar Conor McGregor. McGregor is preparing his professional boxing debut, when he takes on former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. on August 26th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

He was asked if he would fight him...he answered accordingly...Learn to use deductive reasoning. Really important.

If you're tired of him, blame media for asking him questions.

I have been wondering for the last week if Paulie is trying to hype up a potential match between himself and McGregor. While this comment is not proof it certainly has me continuing to wonder.

              Give it a rest??

Are you kidding me? Paulie wants a big pay day. An after Floyd kicks Mc's ass like in 5, paulie and mac would be the perfect grudge match. Paulie comes out of retirement, ko's mc's ass in like 9, and then slaps the ***** in public.

Paulie still has egg on his face. Pun intended.

I don't think this is that well thought out. And anyone who knows about Paulie over the years should realize he's not a guy known for keeping it low key and cool. If Paulie feels insulted or one upped he's gonna let everyone know his side and opinion about it for better or worse.

Maybe it's the reporters asking him questions trying to hype up a fight between him and McGregor. Malignaggi is retired from the sport.
