You would think if a boxer finally consistently did what we wanted to see he would be loved. Hes not a criminal and doesn't talk ****. It took jacobs years and seeing him get hit by brook for him to feel confident enough to take the fight.

Don't kid yourself boxing is full of people on all sides who see color lines or at least in boxing forums. Mayweather has experienced it (I think it has actually benefited him financially) and I see it on online boards with Golovkin.

He gets a lot of hate, but he's done what he's supposed to do. He's beaten everyone he's supposed to and he's looked pretty good when doing it for the most part. It's just that he's been fighting in a mediocre division for a long time. He's got some new blood now. Let's see how he performs. His resume is pretty weak, but he has looked good when he fights. GGG is a very good fighter he just get overhyped by some.

Broner is one of the biggest hypejobs going but at least he has took challenges.

The biggest con is Brook who avoided punchers his whole career and as soon as he fought one he quit.
