Wilder's team is wasting so much time of his prime years. Giving him garbage tuneups for every fight. If he doesn't take a big fight for his next one and pulls another novice out of the hat in waiting for AJ (who has to make 2 mandatories and won't be able to fight him for 1 year from now more than likely), I'll feel bad for him when that fight actually happens. The rate Anthony is developing is bad for any heavyweight. 1 year from now, he'll take Wilder out in 4 rounds instead of 7 or 8.

It is kind of funny that he was willing to fight Grant. I didn't even know that old bum was still fighting. A lot of people in this sport, Wilder included, are being very careful with whom they fight. They don't want to risk getting knocked back down the ladder with a loss.

This is very true. The vast majority of fighters in Boxing today are risk averse.
