That Barrera "win" was a farce

Hated seeing a legend get played like he did . It was a accidental head clash before the forth round. Should have been called a no contest

The ref / doctor dragged it out with untill they could go to the cards

Con sheet . Pizzed me off because Barrera was one of my faveroite fighters and he couldn't see through the blood after the clash of heads
that fight is what made me dislike khan. They tried to use the name of a great fighter to try and build khan up after he was ko'd by Prescott. After that farce khan walked around like he was some sort of elite fighter but historically he can't hold a candle to barreras career.

Ingle is right. Brook doesn't air his dirty linen in public. Khan is a desperate attention seeker.

Sky commentary were making out like Barrera was the same Barrera Hamed faced. "He beat fellow Brit Naseem, can Khan do it...". 2001 Barrera would have put Khan to sleep.

Not many can hold a candle to Barrera. One of my favourite boxers to watch growing up. He was war torn and old by the time he wanted to make a bit of money going over to the UK for Khan. At least he was man enough, as always, to take on the challenge of fighting a young upcoming fighter. I mean you can't name many fighters who already have it all and are financially comfortable who choose to go into boxing to prove themselves.

Agree it should have been declared a no contest after the accidental clash.

These days you'll find fighters picking up big paydays against nobodies or not risking anything at all whatsoever.

Let's not forget Barrera was the one who ended Naseem Hamed. It's not a coincidence that Naseem Hamed faced his first ever true test against Barrera and came up way short. Outclassed with strong fundamentals similar to what we saw in the Mikey Garcia vs Broner fight. That flashy skill from both Naseem and Broner is worth nothing to a real dedicated boxer who has mastered his craft and has extremely strong fundamental boxing skills that may look simple to casuals and may not excite the casuals but is a pure textbook necessity in boxing.

Textbook strong fundamentals always beats flashy fighters who try to wing it.

Also not a coincidence Naseem more or less QUIT after that loss having one comeback fight in the UK to milk it one last time. Kell Brook and Naseem Hamed both products of the Ingle gym which I have never been a fan of.

Brendan Ingle at least brought his fighters up from scratch and built his legacy up from the dirt. His son however is only good for talking the wildest bull**** for someone who has never fought nor earned his stripes as a real boxing trainer.

I hope they don't go back to fighting bums. Give the man one decent tune up and I want to see if all the talking from Billy Big Bollocks Dom Ingle will take them to a fight with a legit world level contender at 154lb. Most likely won't happen.

Liam Smith is their current goal since Cotto will call it a day. Not really a big goal is it? We all know Khan won't give them a payday until it's his very last fight once he himself has secured himself financially a little more.

These two are dragging boxing through the mud. Not enjoying seeing these two in the news for non boxing related issues.

Judah already had 6 losses when khan faced him, barrera was old, washed up and too small, maidana was his 1 credible win and maidana pummeled khan. Alexander was drug addicted and 1 fight removed from losing to the same porter that brook beat. Everyone else you mentioned was well past their best and not considered elite anyway. Even washed up guys like Diaz gave khan a beating in what was supposed to be a showcase fight. Brooks 2 losses were to guys he was the underdog against and 2 guys khan wouldn't dare step into the ring with. Khan on the other hand losses to guys that he's the favorite to beat like Prescott, Alexander and garcia.
OK first of all, Judah was on a 5 fight win streak and IBF champ when Khan fought and destroyed him. Khan pummelled him all night till he dropped to his knees from a bodyshot and didn't get back up. Barrera and Khan crossed paths during a title elimination series, Barrera also won 2 fights prior to Khan, so he still had something in him and wasn't completely washed up. Overall though, he was nowhere near as good as he used to be. He still wasn't as good as he was in his prime. Maidana got schooled by Khan all night long, fair enough though, Khan did get rocked but that was because of Khan's weak chin and not because of Maidana's superiority as a boxer. But overall, Khan won that fight fairly convincingly, more convincingly than how Kell Brook beat Shawn Porter, Kell Brooks biggest win. Alexander supposedly started painkillers during the Maidana fight, so if Khans victory is illegimate, then so is Shawn Porters and Marcos Maidana. But still, Khan looked excellent in that fight and dominated throughout. Julio Diaz got absolutely got ****d by Khan. Diaz is someone who drew to Shawn Porter, Kell Brooks biggest win. Shows how better Khan is if anything. The rest of the names I've mentioned are ex-champs, such as two weight division champ Paulie Malignaggi, Kotelnik is a silver olympic medalist and ex-world champ, Luis Collazo, another ex-champ. Chris Algieri, ex champ. Devon Alexander, 2x champ.

Then there's Kell Brook, who's fought Senchenko a ex-champ, and Shawn Porter and thats it... That's the only champs he's beaten.

very crafty how you try to make your argument but leave out key points. Yeah Judah had a 5 fight win streak, 4 wins against nobodies and 1 "win" vs mathysse in a fight that everyone thought he lost. Yeah, barrera had 2 straight wins, against a guy with 19 losses and another guy with a 1-7 record. Sure julio Diaz gave porter a draw, he also was brutally ko'd by the great Kendall holt a couple of fights before then early in the fight. You say khan ****d Diaz but Diaz dropped him and wobbled him multiple times. Very lenient with your perception of "****d" give it up guy. Khans career has been a joke for the better part of the past decade and nobody takes him seriously.
