Lennox Lewis was around the same size, and a better boxer too.

So perhaps Wlad comes in second place in this category.

Lewis would have absolutely took his head off.

Primo Carnera was easily the most physically dominant champ ever, he just couldn't fight

Wlad was athletic and diligent but had to be led to water by Manny Steward, wasn't a natural , Lennox Lewis may have been 5% less physically impressive but would have taken his head off

Sounds like something you'd read on the HW Blog.

Tris Dixon's write up on Wladimir was a better and a lot more grounded in reality

There's a long list of guys as big as Wlad, much longer than Primo and Lennox.

I don't think any of them had the same frustrating effect on smaller opponents as Wlad did. The combination of a super stiff jab, super cautious style (after his loss 10 yrs ago) and his size/physique would usually break his opponent before he even had a chance to use his right hand.

Despite the boring years he finished his career with a higher KO ratio than lewis too.

Wlad (like every other fighter) will become more exciting with age because nobody will watch his boring fights and they'll just watch the KO reel.

Ali had some booorrrringg ass fights but nobody remembers him for it.
