Corrales chat from yesterday on espn.com

Thought you guys might like to check this out.

Welcome to The Show! On Thursday, we'll bring you inside the ring of the Diego Corrales-Jose Luis Castillo fight when Diego stops by to chat.

The 28-year-old Corrales is 40-3 with 33 knockouts entering his WBC lightweight bout with Castillo on Saturday, June 3. Saturday's fight will be his third straight fight against Castillo. He won the first one in a 10th-round TKO of Castillo in May 2005. He then lost via a KO in October of last year. Castillo enters the ring at 54-7-1.

So send in your questions now and then join Diego in chat on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Buzzmaster: (4:31 PM ET ) Diego's here! Let's get started.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John(Long Island): Hey Diego, I love the way you fight. Who were some of your favorite fighters as a kid?

Diego Corrales: (4:32 PM ET ) I love Tommy Hearns, Sugar Ray Leonard. That whole group was great.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Markus (Detroit MI): Hey Diego just wanted to know how is the training coming and will you be in top shape come this weekend?

Diego Corrales: (4:33 PM ET ) My training was perfect. It was phenomenal. I'll be in shape for this weekend.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Columbus, OH: What are you going to prove to Castillo once June 3rd arrives? Good Luck on a victory, Chico!

Diego Corrales: (4:34 PM ET ) I want to show him that I am head and shoulders above him. I am 10 times more talented than he is and I'm going to show the world.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rhody, Tokyo Japan: Diego, First thanks for your time today. After you KO Castillo, who do you want next?

Diego Corrales: (4:35 PM ET ) I don't know. That's really my management's job. I'm just going to sit back and relax. You have a lot of great fights out there.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Queens, NY: Is your fight plan to go toe to toe with Castillo or have you prepared a new fight plan for Saturday?

Diego Corrales: (4:35 PM ET ) You'll have to watch on Saturday! I won't tell you now!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Markus (Detroit MI): Hey Diego just wanted to know are you considering moving up in weight after this fight? Good Luck!!!

Diego Corrales: (4:36 PM ET ) I'm actually debating it. I want to see the landscape and see what happens before I make any decisions.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DARYLE-ATLANTA,GA: Do you see this fight going going deep,or do you see him being taken out early!?Good luck champ!!!

Diego Corrales: (4:36 PM ET ) I really don't know. There's always that possibility that you could go deep. It could go 12 or it could go 2.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yanksfan Santa Barbera California: Last time you fought Castillo, you lost to a guy who weighed in over the light weight limit. And he won the fight. If he doesn't make weight again, what will your reaction be.

Diego Corrales: (4:37 PM ET ) He'll make the weight. I won't accept anything less.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sean (Orlando): Chico, how much respect as a fighter do you have for Castillo? You are both warriors.

Diego Corrales: (4:37 PM ET ) I respect him a lot. He's a great fighter.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bobby las vegas: Whats up Diego, big fan here. Who was the tougher fighter, Castillo or Mayweather? Thanks man and good luck.

Diego Corrales: (4:38 PM ET ) Castillo. Pounding his head in and he comes back.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mat (Scottsdale, AZ): Chico - how are the ribs? Knock this fool out.

Diego Corrales: (4:39 PM ET ) My ribs are great now. They've finally came back to normal. It took a second but they're back to normal. Five, six weeks before my ribs were good enough for me to start training.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GarrettJonesville Michigan): Have you played the new game fight night round 3? and if so, do you think that the boxing in that game is like boxing in real life?

Diego Corrales: (4:40 PM ET ) No, it's not. I've played it a ton of times and I get my butt kicked every time.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mat (Scottsdale, AZ): Is Goosen training you again for this fight? How do you like working with him. Good luck this weekend.

Diego Corrales: (4:40 PM ET ) I love Joe. He's an awesome trainer. He's with me again.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ryan, St. Paul, MN: Hey Diego, how do you plan on not getting hit with Castillo's power, what have you worked on to avoid that?

Diego Corrales: (4:41 PM ET ) I just keep my arms high and stay off center.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Billy (Michigan): i dont kno a lot about boxing but are you the wbc light weight champ? if you are is this going to be a title fight?

Diego Corrales: (4:41 PM ET ) Yeah it is. It's a title fight. As long as he makes weight it's a title fight.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mat (Scottsdale, AZ): Where did you get that little shimmy you do when they are announcing your name?

Diego Corrales: (4:42 PM ET ) My shimmy! I've done it all my life.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Markus (Detroit MI): What will you do different in this fight that you didn't do in the second fight?

Diego Corrales: (4:42 PM ET ) Use my jab a lot more. Keep my hands moving.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Columbus,OH: How long do you think you've been training for this fight?

Diego Corrales: (4:43 PM ET ) I did a nine week camp.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sean (Charlottesville VA): Diego, assuming that you win, which one fight at 135-140 would you most like?

Diego Corrales: (4:43 PM ET ) Whichever fight makes the most business sense. For me it's all the same.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cale, North Carolina: Chico, how many tattoos do you have?

Diego Corrales: (4:44 PM ET ) Something like 19. Honestly, it's hard keeping track now. I forgot.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DAFUNK, Forest Hills, NY: Should changes be made to better monitor or regulate excessive weight losses and post weigh-in gains in boxing

Diego Corrales: (4:44 PM ET ) No, I don't. I think whatever we weigh in at, that's all that matters.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sean (Orlando): What is it going to take to get you to fight in Florida? I'd love to see you box in person.

Diego Corrales: (4:45 PM ET ) You know what. I don't know. Write letters. I like Florida.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dan, Boston: Diego what song will you be entering the ring to Saturday?

Diego Corrales: (4:45 PM ET ) It's a song called Retaliation.

Diego Corrales: (4:46 PM ET ) To all my fans. You are going to see a flawless fight from me on Saturday. Thanks for the support.

nice.....the one that cracked me up was the one he said he is gonna prove he is head and shoulders above Castillo.

to me these 2 are evenly matched in just about every category.Castillo has a better chin, better boxing abitlities and a slightly better left hook.
