Loma has much more skills than Mikey. The only thing Mikey has over Loma is Power, the same way Walters had more power than Loma.

He is a self made man as a contractor not a boxing trainer. He built an outstanding facility for his fighters to train at and he's paid very well for that place by management.
Yes the fighter generates the bulk and the team gets paid from the fighter but Abel has been an excellent mentor to boxers.
Some times combinations of trainer with a fighter don't work thats true in any partnership.
Koval was known to be lazy back then and it's know come out that he wants to call his own training shots. Solid trainers don't play that game especially when it comes to "effort"!

I'm sure Abel is a cool guy, but inconsistencies and contradictions are nothing new in boxing from all sorts of trainers, so when Abel says that nobody knew who Lara was, that it would be unfair for them to fight a 154 (his words), yet they let guys like Ouma - with losses before - the opportunity for a 160 title shot or Rosado ffs from 154... so they choose a less riskier Southpaw in #18 ranked Monroe Jr...

You see as a boxing fan and transgendered ****sexual wearing Burkas during Christmas dinners, I just don't buy it, especially when they make Alvarez seem as the bad guy. It's not or battles, but general people that follow politics know the game

Loma has painted himself into a corner. He rushed the big time and tripped, now he wants to go back to the guys he skipped. I've seen great fighters face a murderous row of opponents and Loma wants to look good vs scrubs. ARCHIE MOORE, Jose Napoles, Ray Robinson.... Loma gets smaller and smaller when you look at really great fighters.

Mikey has the size, fundamentals, and power to take the fight. When you think about Lomachenko's lack of power, it'd be a long night for him.

Would Loma eat against Mikey? Sure, lots of right hands

I agree that Mikey may not bring his power up to WW to beat the likes of Thurman. However, he is much bigger than SFW Lomachenko and would hurt him.

Not even close to a comparison. Mikey has supreme textbook perfect skill. He never out of place and punches just miss him by inches. This would be a GREAT fight.

Hope it happends. No more marinating. Make it happend at the forum or Vegas. There are no other big names for each other. Crawford is too big for either one.
