Comments Thread For: Nacho: Marquez's Knockout of Pacquiao Was NOT a Lucky Shot!

Nacho Beristain, the career-long trainer of former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40 KOs), was very sad to see his fighter walk away from the sport. Nacho had been pressing Marquez, nearly 44 years old, to retire from boxing. But Marquez, inactive since May of 2014, continued to train for a potential ring return.

It was a great KO by Marquez. What makes It even better Is that Floyd fans have to live vicariously through Marquez because according to Floyd's dad Floyd was to scared to actually engage Pacquiao.

Marquez was always fun to watch. It Is best that he Is finally walking away, but It would have been Interesting to see him and Cotto finish their career's against one another.

Why do you guys always end a sentence with an exclamation point for every headline story title?? Trying to make it seem as if nacho was yelling, the guy is calm even when he's pissed off..

Paulie malignaggi edged the whole ped subject beautifully, ..he said --("for that fourth fight, everyone was so pinpoint on Marquez" 'oh my God he was so dirty 'oh how did he pass that drug test' 'oh he looked like a different person'..."Everyone was so on marquez's case, nobody was saying anything about Pacquiao but did anybody notice Pacquiao was winning the fight?" "How is the clean guy beating the dirty guy? "was he(Pacquiao) clean? Exactly!..
