Comments Thread For: Prograis: I'll Hurt Mikey Garcia If He Fights Me Like He Did Broner

NEW YORK Regis Prograis watched with great interest from ringside as Mikey Garcia beat Adrien Broner last Saturday night. The rising super lightweight contender expected Broner to beat Garcia. The powerful southpaw from New Orleans planned to call out Broner afterward, but he would just as soon accept a fight against Garcia.

Imam, Barthelemy, Relikh or Lipinets would all be good opponents for Prograis within his next couple of fights. If he beats someone like that, then he can start demanding Mikey and Crawford

Hurt him probably, beat him I doubt it. Garcia is too seasoned at this time for Regi but this fight appears to have promise considering that Prograis is reaching a mandatory spot for Crawfords WBC-WBO titles, however I'm wondering if Garcia got any priviledge winning the WBC 'Diamond' jr. welterweight belt vs. Adrien Broner...because I'm thinking he might cash it in like money in the bank! but then Regi comes in with his mando and steal chair then pow!!!

Don't forgot the tartan tornado is in the mix and a dark horse at that mate!

in my ideal world Crawford unifies and moves up and we get

Barthelemey V Relikh rematch winner fighting the winner of

            Taylor V Prograis

Be interesting if Garcia sticks around....and Orozco steps up, division will finally start to heat up and get interesting (if bud unifies and moves up like he should)

Yeah, forgot about Taylor. I would actually prefer Crawford (or Indongo) to stick around and defend the undisputed title a couple of times, then move up once they start getting stripped. It's exciting to have a real, undisputed champion around again

If Mikey is going to keep ducking Lomachenko, then he should at least fight this guy next.

Yeah i suppose, especially considering Bud has only really fought 1 guy (the rest of them were overmatched or midgets moving up in weight)

Would be interesting to see Bud agaisnt prograis, Orozco, Taylor etc the problem is those guy's are not ready to fight someone like bud at this stage in their careers, which is why i feel like it's perfect timing to move up after unifying.....147 is wide open atm...I feel like thurman is really overrated and the jury is still out on spence imo.

Any idea who the mandatories would be if Bud sticks around? Hopefully not Barthlemey, he's looked terrible recently and clearly lost agaisnt relikh...
