Eddie Hearn and Whyte have both said they'd be happy for Whyte vs Wilder on the undercard of AJ vs Pulev in a recent interview with IFL.

That fight will never happen, given a choice Wilder would face Stiverne ten times out of ten rather than face Ortiz. The WBC could have removed Stiverne from the rankings for doping but Wilder wouldn't have wanted that as he'd have have to have faced Ortiz or Whyte, dude would have dropped his belt if he had to face Ortiz.
