A UFC set up would certainly make the best fight the best...its impossible bc UFC isnt a sport its an organization that doesnt let fighters avoid each other.Their top 10 is pretty consistant and most have fought each other and more than once.

    Really blame the fans/you guys!

    He was wobbled ...hes a bum...He lost...hence hes a bum...etc etc..lol

the game has changed greatly and fighters are severly penalized in most cases when they lose and takes up to 3 years in some cases just to get a legit status again....what sport other than boxing does this???******ity and thats why top guys avoid eachother.....lol

UFC isn't a haters sport though, they don't hired "paid consultants" to write hit pieces about rival networks and fighters. In MMA there are no Larry Merchant's or Jim Lampleys constantly hating on the best fighters while shilling for the network favs. Ronda Rousey was hyped as "once in human history despite being a mediocre athlete and fighter. She had the entire UFC machine behind. Connor McGoober lost got tapped out by a journeyman who accepted the fight on two weeks notice. Yet the UFC machine found a way to spin that lost in a positive light. Nate Diaz vs Connor McGoober was heralded as an of the best fighting the best in their primes, something that supposedly never happens in boxing. The boxing media would have ****ted all over Floyd if he lost to a journeyman who accepted a fight on short notice. But again UFC isn't a haters sport. They get that tearing down your own isn't good for the sport of MMA.

Contrast that to how Mayweather, Rigo, Al Haymon, or basically anyone who doesn't suck HBO's **** has been treated by the boxing media. It's night and day.

Look a loss shouldn't mean the end of a top career but a fighter should have to earn a title shot.

There's a big difference between the UFC's relationship with its fighters and HBO's. UFC owns and promotes all their own fighters and they are the only game in town. Every fighter in the UFC is a "beast" and a "monster" according to their broadcast teams because to say otherwise would be to cut into their bottom line.

HBO just owns the broadcasting license for their fights, they are more invested in watchable fights than in the live gate or what have you. HBO wants ratings; if people think Mayweather or Rigo or whoever is unwatchable then HBO's business model is hurt; if they try to talk those fights up then their credibility as the premier spot for fights is hurt. They benefit by talking down boring fighters/fights and pressuring promoters to bring exciting TV fights to them.

Watch any Top Rank broadcast stream with Col. Bob Sherridan doing commentary and you'll hear the same effusive praise of Top Rank fighters that you get in the UFC. Same goes for Haymon's or Golden Boy's inhouse broadcasters.

Especially with the amount of bad decision wins and padded records out there
