His last fight before retirement(Berto) sold anywhere from 400,000 to 550,000 PPV'S. Normally advertising a fight as the final fight of your career should have enticed sells, In Floyd's case It did the opposite.

Floyd was involved in the 3 biggest fights ever.

    but he isn't a draw?

mayweather did 2 million buys twice without Manny.
Manny never did 2 million without Floyd.

mayweather did 2 million plus twice without de la hoya.
De la Hoya never did 2 million without floyd

mayweather did 2 million twice without canelo.
canelo just did his first million against chavez without Floyd

    Floyd aint a draw doe

I'm sure Pacquaio is happily making a **** ton more than that. Better yet name one Haymon fighter not named Floyd that has cracked a 2 million dollar payday...out of 300 guys..NONE! Do you know the kind of money a Keith Thurman could've made against Pacquaio or Bradley, or even lineal champ at the time Garcia? Hell Bradley in three fights has out earned Garcia and Thurman by a wide margin...WIDE.

        Amir Khan
        Andre berto
        Danny Jacobs

made more than 2 million dollars.

        just some facts for you

Read the post again, slowly this time. Floyd Is hardly a draw at this point. He advertised the Berto fight as his final fight which In normal circumstances would have enticed people to purchase his final PPV. That did not happen. He needs big names to sell as every fighter does. He Is not Immune to this rule.

the berto fight wasn't a sign that Floyd isn't a draw. it was boxing fans taking a stand against that particular fight.

had he fought Thurman or brook like everybody wanted him too. it would have been the usual 800k ppv buys

plus he sold with ortiz, maidana, guerrero. those dudes weren't big names.

mayweather vs ortiz sold more than de la hoya vs Hopkins.
more than de la hoya vs Vargas. more than de la hoya vs Mosley.

and that's without a hall of fame opponen.

                  again just facts bro
