Especially when you consider how all these guys got theirs

    Crawford beat Dulhorne
    Burns beat Di Rocco
    Postol beat Matthysse
Indigo beat Trvosky ( Trovisky beat Cuenca ? )

I'd take Garcias win over all of those in fact That win is almost a better win then almost any win that those other 5 have put together at 140.
Garcia payed Postol so he could face Salka instead, be real.

I'm pretty sure your lying to sound cool. Stop with the revisionist history

I think he paid Postol to fight Lamont, the last remaining legit name in the division

And at that point Postol had beat nobody really ( Sedchuck & Lundy big f.ucking deal) and fought something like the #400 ranked 140 as a stay busy fight buried on the undercard of that fight

Fans get interested in fights when fighters beat legit names to get to the position

That's why Garcia - Lucas was so hyped even though it was for 2 belts because garcia had beat Moreales, Khan , Zab and Lucas had beat Lamont

Crawford / Indongo doesn't have near the hype and shouldn't because the entire reign of both fighters to this point is whatever. Yeah it's for all the marbles but no one who held the belt had to beat anyone of substance

Indongo beat Burns and Trovosky who between them don't have a decent win at 140. Literally all C grade names

Crawford beat Dulhorne & Postol who have 1 ok win between them

Crawfords 140 reign has consisted of Dulhorne, Postol, Lundy , Molina , Diaz , Jean. That's 2 somewhat decent names out the bunch but POstol had 1 decent win and Diaz best fight is a L to Lamont. Overall That's a Sh.itty stretch of opponets. With the exception of Postol winning a vacant off a fighter who technically has never won a World championship I don't think none of those names have beaten A World Champion

That's why this fight isn't really hyped because 140 might be the worst division between 126-HW and Crawford / Indongo beat nobodies to get to this fight

Hardcore fans are interested. I don't think it is fair to expect much more. If Crawford wins impressively (and in a fan friendly way) then I think it is fair to expect his next fight to have more public anticipation.

It's a nice fight because all the straps are on the line. 140 is a shallow as Sh.it division . look how all the belts came to be for this fight

Crawford got his first strap in a vacant over Dulhorne and beat Postol who had 1 notable fight who got his strap through vacancy

Indongo beat Trovansky to get his first belt who didnt beat anyone of substance his entire career and beat a guy who never fought out of Argentina to get it and then beat Burns another fighter who got his strap from beating a nobody in a vacant fight. I'm not even sold on Indongo

No one got their 4 straps from beating the man it was more of being at the right place at the right time the closest fight would be Postol / Lucas for the vacant WBC . All the fights for the straps were against sub par competition and now we have a fight for all 4 straps in a weak division. Look at the original belt holders Postol,Indongo,Burns,Crawford & Tyvisky and the only somewhat decent name any of those fighters have on their resume at 140 is a shop worn Lucas Mattysse( who technically was never even a World champion)

Just look at how Danny Garcia earned his straps
Beat HOF Moreales to get his 1st in a vacancy
Upset Khan to grab the 2nd
Should have got his 3rd over Lucas but Matthysse/Lamint wasn't for strap didn't matter beat Lamont down the road. All legit names to get it

That's how it should be not this pathetic version of how it's going down

Please tell me why this fight should be hyped up
HAHAHAHA - you mean the blown up Erik Morales that loss 6 of his previous 11 fights heading into the Garcia bout??? GTFOH

Garcia should've gotten the L vs Lamont and Herrera and there's no way his Loss to One Time was split.

I really don't know how you can say in one breath that Crawford and Indongo didn't come by their belts legitimately and then follow it up with "but Garcia's win over HOF Morales was totally legit" without bursting into laughter. That belt was basically stolen from Bradley to give to Morales.

Yeah that same Moreales that gave Maidana problems a ear before that

Being a 23-24 year old fighting for your first strap against Erik f.ucking Moreales is a big task even if he was on the downslope of his career. It's a sure lot more impressive then beating

Dulhorne, Matthyse, Di Rocco, Tryvosky, or Cuenca

Floyd vs Conor hype has made everyone forget about everything til the night of the event I think. The UFC had one of their best cards ever last weekend & I saw soooooo many people on twitter & other social media who had completely forgotten about it. I think thats happening in boxing too. I mean Loma is fighting on ESPN tomorrow too. Loma on ESPN.

If this was Golovkin unifying all 4, the usual suspects would be deepthroating each other.
