Comments Thread For: Dereck Chisora in The Clear, No Longer Facing Assault Charge

Heavyweight contender Dereck Chisora will no longer face an assault charge over an alleged fracas at a nightclub, a court has been told. The 6ft 1.5in boxer, who has previously held heavyweight European, Commonwealth and British titles, stood outside the dock during the minute-long hearing as a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm was dropped.

The guy in the nightclub looked like Dillian Whyte and he got confused.

Chisora has been training like a mad man

Looks in the best shape I've seen him for a long time

Will give any heavy a hard nights work !

Would love a chisora wilder / Parker fight

Think he would grind Parker down to a holt

His bird is quite fit...20.29second mark!

I think Derek Chisora should gun for Joseph Parker! and then rematch David Haye! (I think he would bully Joseph Parker!)

Chisora is good, probably a bit underrated. If you take away the loss against Whyte and Helenius where he was robbed, he's only been beaten by genuinely good fighters like Vitali, Haye and Fury and an SD loss to Pulev.

I think he just falls a bit short of the top level. I think he could give Parker a good fight. The problem with Chisora is that he was at his best when the belts were basically tied up by the Klitschko's. Had he been given the opportunities like Parker, Wilder and Joshua got to pick up belts, he would probably have been a world champion too.
