CONOR McGregor's sparring partner Paulie Malignaggi gave another fascinating interview on the inner workings of the Irishman's fight camp. Malignaggi, a multiple-time two-weight world champion, was brought in to The Notorious' camp in order to help him prepare for the forthcoming super-fight with Floyd Mayweather on August 26.

Easy day for Floyd if he is gassing by the 5th and 6th.

Why don't just televised this shiet for everyone to see? usually sparring details are left in the gym, but this camp is totally different. I guess that's what you get when you put Cortez, Paulie and Connor in the same camp tho.

Makes sense. 5 minute 5 rounds UFC is what he's used to so he gasses after the 6th round is expected. He's going to be shattered by round 8.

mayweathers gonna make mcgregor look as good and carry him plenty. theres definitely an agreement for this exhibition to not blast out or humiliate mcgregor with a savage beating. now way mcgregor would sign up to have himself humiliated or disabled.

McGregor gassing by the 6th isn't a big deal in sparring because chances are he was going ham for those 6 rounds trying to show Paulie up. I don't see him boxing as intelligently and economically in sparring as he would when implementing a strategy in an actual fight. Plus we don't know if his coaches told him to go hard body until he gassed to see how many rounds of an all out onslaught he could execute at this stage on training. Everyone needs to stop making a big deal about sparring. That being said, Connor can't spar enough rounds in a year let alone a few months to beat Mayweathers 3 decades plus of muscle memory. May slaps him easily wether Connor gasses early or not.

How does training with Paula no punch the dance queen help Conor?

Having Paulie help spar and train Conor is not a good practice for the great Floyd. That is like driving a chevy malibu in Prep for the INDY 500. Using Paula no punch seems odd. get a fast elusive brother that is quick like Floyd and snaps back hard. Dumb idea Irish man.
