Mikey's the money train just like Floyd was ...Beltron has virtually no chance for him ...he's taking so many powerful shots he'll be riding a bicycle and barely able to keep it balanced before you know it...

It just seems so simple to make Verdejo vs. Beltran, while they wait for Flanagan. Beltran is basically a Top Rank fighter, he's fighting next on a Top Rank card, and Beltran wants a title shot, so if he wins, why not let him face Verdejo? Mikey Garcia is looking for a unification, so Beltran is not in the picture. Mikey would face Easter Jr. before he faces Beltran!

Mikey wants the best fights he can get on fair terms, Ray Beltran knows Top Rank isn't going to let him anywhere near Felix Verdejo or Vasyl Lomachenko, and Top Rank is more than happy to sacrifice Beltran if it somehow ended up with them getting options on Mikey Garcia, a fighter who is looking like the money draw at 135/140lbs.

I am all for it. I'm not saying you are wrong about anything, but the possibilities are nil. Beltran scares people, he's KOing prospects and Felix is the biggest, long lasting, will be until we hear different, prospect. There isn't half a million for Felix here, and never will be after.

I would like nothing better than Felix vs Beltran. Felix vs a live body, before he goes PPV. Beltran is on a good run, he has tools and gets into good shape. Felix is not on a good run, he's stuggling vs lessers. Felix might need a challenge to improve, for all I know, but they have him on a soft diet and Beltran is not soft.

Felix! I think the lousy competition might be part of his problem. He fights guys who are slow and easy to hit. He can't miss. Now his hands hurt.

Good luck with that. TR isn't gonna let anyone like Mikey to even get a fight on ESPN any time soon to beat a guy like Beltran I predict. Hope they prove me wrong.
