Malignaggi slyy playing the promoting game doing his bit to sell the fight!! Before hand he was slagging the fight offComment

He was complaining about how much money the UFC pays him and threatening to retire long before there any talks about this fight. He was tired of getting jerked by the UFC who pay their fighters scraps compared to what even mid level and prospects boxers make. Dude sold over 1m PPVs each of his last few UFC fights yet he makes more off his own endorsements then he does from the UFC. Why you think Floyd keeps clowning him saying you got paid 3M your last fight. For comparison Canelo/Chavez just sold 1M PPVs and Canelo made 20M and Chavez made 6M. If you Mcgregor why the phuk would you ever go back into a UFC fight? Why you think Dana White saying McGregor might retire and not fight in the UFC again. After the money he is going to see from the Floyd fight I can't see him going back to the UFC to fight for 3M.Comment

As long as he doesn't get Knocked Out if he can go 12 rounds and be competitive for a few rounds he will call out another boxer and try and to get one more boxing payday. Or what about seeing if Nate Diaz another disgruntled UFC fighter can get out his deal and have a 3rd fight in a boxing ring where both will get paid more then the UFC pays. But if pillow fisted Floyd who ain't knocked nobody out in forever comes off 2 year layoff at 40 and knocks this clown out it's impossible to ever put him in a boxing ring again.Comment

Dana White will easily be screwing McGregor out of at least 80% of whatever money he gets from this fight, easily, unless there was some type of other agreement, but I still don't see Dana taking anything less than 50% from Conor's dough at the end of the night.
Hell, Jon Jones made 500K and Cormier only made 1 million in their last fight. Dana absolutely ****s these fighters for their money, so no it wouldn't surprise me if Conor stayed in boxing, regardless of how good he is. He has enough of a fan base from the UFC that he can remain relatively popular in the sport of boxing if he chooses to do so. Regardless I bet Conor pockets around 20-30 million at most from this fight. If he's projected to make around 100 million, 80-85% would be a huge loss. But, then again, it will still be the most money he's made off of one fight.Comment

The storyline is there and everyone knows that Paulie is one of the softest hitters in the game and 'retired.'
Conor getting ko'd vs Mayweather (oh i really hope that happens) actually makes a potential Paulie the Pillow fight more interesting.Comment

I expect to see a Carl Froch type boxer. All long limbs and not great technique but solid beard and power.Comment
