Hmm, that would show a little streak of wanting to fight guys coming off not so good performances or losses. I wouldn't mind it of course, if it's at 147. The match up itself is fine. DSG can handle guys who people give him no chance against, as shown vs Matthysse and Khan. Mikey is better than those two but still, i'm okay with this fight.

As good as Mikey is I can't see him coming up another division and beating someone like Danny. He beat broner because of consistency as well as his ability, Danny brings more to the table, including an elite mindset.

I see this as too much based off what I saw against Broner. Mikey should try and get Linares and Lomachenko if he can over the next 12-18 months with maybe some good level fights at 135-140 mixed between, then maybe see if he can do something incredible at 147lbs, and that is exactly what it would be, pretty incredible if he could take a major scalp.
