  • Comments Thread For: Jermall Charlo: Are Canelo, Golovkin Ready For Me? I'm Ready!

Jermall Charlo went above and beyond the call of duty when doing his homework on Jorge Sebastian Heiland ahead of their July 29 matchup in Brooklyn, New York. Not only had he studied his opponent's style, he knew the various gyms Heiland sparred at in Buenos Aires and the exact altitude at which the Argentinean southpaw had trained in preparation for their fight.

Jermall Charlo might be the best in boxing but acts to crudely

Jermall Charlo has big talent but acts way to crudely to ever be a star or a PPV big money pug. Charlo probably beats Canelo and GGG and rules as a middleweight champion but few will caRE TO WATCH THIS UNTAMED street thug with little personality or charm or respect. Good fighter who cannot communicate to the boxing fans spells disaster career wise.

So he's got a little bit of venom and a mean streak to him. So what?

As long as he directs it toward his work in the ring then who cares. This is fighting not a tea party.

He should fight Daniel Jacobs on October 14th at Barclays Center, or shut up.

To win the white and Mex boxing fans over a fighter need charisma and charm and class. All of which are lacking in the extremely talented jermall Charlo. Charlo will win some titles but will never win the boxing audience. Thusly costing the crude rough foul mouthed Charlo millions. Fans want to like a boxer and Charlo is just not likable but kind of hated.

Charlo needs to test himself well with some of the middleweights challengers to build himself for either Canelo or GGG... he should fight Lemieux, Jacobs, Quillin,Mora etc

Acting crudely is a pre requisite to being a ppv star. Nice guys finish last ask Andre Ward!
