Comments Thread For: Josh Warrington To Lee Selby: "The Offer's On The Table"

"The offer's on the table." That was the message from Leeds favourite Josh Warrington (25-0, 5 KOs) to IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby (25-1, 9 KOs) on Twitter earlier tonight (August 1). Warrington, the WBC International featherweight belt holder, returns to action on October 21 at the First Direct Arena, Leeds on BT Sport. And the 26-year-old, and his promoter Frank Warren, want Selby to take up the offer presented to him.

I like josh, think he's a good fighter, but I think selby beats him easy at this point, he should of taken the fight when selbys team offered it last year.

Josh had his chance and he didn't take it. He can piss off now. Frampton a much bigger fight

I dont see what their is to like, he could have fought Selby when they was under the same banner he decided to get married!

He leaves and joins Warren (not going to help get you the fight)

he has only scored 5kos and talking like he is a beast

Struggles with Martinez who is shot

No josh is not going anywhere fast unless he fights for a vacant title

100% agree with this. Wasn't his excuse that he didn't want to be marked up in his wedding photos? Despite him and Eddie Hearn going on for a year about this fight at Elland road?! I don't understand why Leeds are so behind him it's not like he's entertaining to watch he has no power and he wouldn't match selby whatsoever.Selby vs Frampton is what we want and what we need!

I meant as a person lol I know him with him being a local Leeds lad.

Your right though in terms of ability,,,frampton, quigg, Santa Cruz, Russell jr and Valdez all beat him easy imo but i did alude to that in my OP.

I would prefer it to be Selby vs Frampton and Warrington vs Quigg or Galahad

Selby/Frampton is financially the best fight out there. Warrington needs to get his arse outta Leeds & make the best out of his WBC ranking. " Russell Jnr is there for the taking"!

Russell is there once a year. He's not taking advantage of his title. I think a generous offer might get him in the UK, but not until 2018 or 19

Exactly. He could have got married at any time. You don't get many chances to fight for a world title. Why not get married in the off season. Clown.
