This guy is right. 10oz at 154 is a relatively new rule. Its only about 10 years old. If BOTH fighters agree, they can use 8oz gloves, like they did for decades, at 154.
Of course if one fighter is a scared cottoesque puta and doesnt agree to 8 oz then they must do 10 oz.
All Connor has to do is accept mayweathers offer to use 8oz.Comment

Nevada Commission: Mayweather Unable To Change Glove Size
What Floyd Mayweather wants is not always what he gets. The Nevada State Athletic Commission has put the brakes on his plan to change the glove size for his upcoming showdown with UFC superstar Conor McGregor. The two fighters are set to collide at the junior middleweight limit of 154-pounds - which under the Nevada rules would call for 10-ounce gloves. McGregor claimed in several interviews that Mayweather intentionally wanted the junior middleweight limit, because 10-ounce gloves are used above the welterweight class.
it looks like Robbie Barrett was right
it could be an NSAC thing, because I'm pretty sure that the Pac/Margo fight was in Texas?
