Who wins? I heard the WBC said they wanted Porter to fight an eliminator against Danny Garcia and Porter called Danny a cherry picker and said the ball is in his court.

I got Porter winning this fight. Dont think Danny has the style to give Porter trouble. Need to be able to move sideways against Porter and Danny doesnt do that. Porter by UD

I think Garcia has the style to beat him (the way he beat Matthysse) but not the grit or mobility needed to beat Porter. I would favor Porter in an ugly fight (is there any other kind of Porter fight?) that goes the distance.

Says a lot about Danny if he turns this fight down. Both guys lost to Thurman but i think Porter-Thurman was closer than Garcia-Thurman, you would think he has something to prove. Unless they decide to go after guys like Berto, Eggington, etc. in that case, he's done imo

I've got Porter. Garcia hasn't got the strength or power at 147 to stop himself being mauled by Porter.

Porter is a rough nights work for anyone right now i think. I think some of the bigger and more skilled Welterweights beat him, like Brook and Thurman did. His style just gives anybody a hard nights work and i could actually see him adding some really good wins to his resume if he gets the fights, just because of his rough style alone. Some decent fighters might not be able to get to grips with it. I think you need to be able to match him physically for strength, or be very skilled to negate his mauling aggressive style. Garcia is neither.
