Cortez sucks and should be known for one of the worse ref jobs in recent history.
I think 1 of the requirements to judge or ref in Vegas is you have to be collecting Social Security. We were discussing Vargas vs Mayweather yesterday, do you remember Cortez's reaction to Mayweather hitting Oritz for the KO? Cortez was literally was in the middle of a senior episode lol
lmao you must be a mcgregor fan, so you are telling me that the mgm is selling the tickets at 35,000 or 3,500 you must be a moron, the tickets are that expensive because of the re sale market and its 25 days away and its not sold out while ggg vs canelo is over a month later and has been sold out for weeks
you dumbass none of floyd vs mcgregor tickets were sold to 3rd party sites! Dana white said this on sportscenter you can youtube it! All 20k tickets will have to be bought by individuals...... Floyd vs manny only released 1 thousand tikets to the public!!! Ggg vs canelo only released 3 thousand!!! So if your dumbass can do the math thats 17 thousand more tickets for the public for may vs mac fight...... You can google this

Exactly. He allowed the KO because he didn't want to admit that he really blew the call. He clearly had not told the fighters to continue fighting yet but swore that he had. He's a joke and got worse when he got older.
The fact that you have two individuals hyping this fight up doesn't bother me, it happens pre-fight for every fight no matter if the boxing world feels like it's a mismatch or not, so them spewing noise doesn't really bother me at all.
One thing I will say though, this definitely lets me know that Mayweather vs Pacquiao was 100% important to the boxing industry, and it's fan base. That fight was sold out in a couple of minutes. The ticket prices reached 6 figures alone!
This fight, while in a bigger arena, is not sold out yet, at 1/10 the price of May-Pac and these fools have guarantees combined of probably close to 200 million dollars.
If the way the tickets are selling is any indication on the PPV numbers, there may be some money lost. I get trying to sell the fight as much as possible, but you can't sell it to seasoned boxing fans. Only the casuals are getting suckered into this fight, and while I still think it will sell good as far as PPV goes, I don't see it coming even remotely close to May-Pac. I would venture around 1.5 mil to 2 mil at the most.

If you honestly re-watch the fight, Cortez did motion to continue fighting before the final hug and KO. The only argument to be made was that Ortiz/Floyd didn't hear, but he definitely motioned that the fight was back on. Also notice how when the knockdown happens, Cortez looked ringside and they were already administering the 10 count on Ortiz.
I didn't like the KO, but I'm hard pressed to find an individual who wouldn't get back at someone who intentionally head butted them just minutes prior. Any other fighter, no one would have complained imho.

He said that it was audible when it wasn't. When he put his hands together to make the motion, the fighters were looking straight at one an other and were not paying attention to the ref since he was not even close to being between them.
